Let’s be honest. Raising girls today feels like a constant battle. Everywhere they turn, they’re hearing messages that tell them they aren’t good enough. Not smart enough. Not pretty enough. Not worthy of love unless they fit in.
But that’s not the truth.
God already said who they are. Chosen. Loved. Beautiful. Fully enough just as they are.
The world may shout lies, but your voice as her mother is louder. You have the power to remind your daughter every single day that she was made on purpose, for a purpose.
What the World Says vs. What God Says
From cartoons to social media, girls are bombarded with messages that try to define their worth. But we know better.
She doesn’t need to fit into a certain crowd to be valuable.
She doesn’t need to change who she is to matter.
God already called her precious. Our job is to remind her of that when the world forgets.
How a Simple Bow Helps Her Remember
It’s not really about the bow. It’s about what it represents.
When she clips it in her hair, she’s reminded she’s loved. Seen. Beautiful inside and out.
Something as small as a bow can help her carry God’s truth with her through the school day, on the playground, or wherever life takes her.
Scripture to Reflect On
"I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well." Psalm 139:14
Let’s Pause and Reflect
-
What has your daughter been hearing about herself this week?
-
How are you reminding her of who God says she is?
-
What’s one simple way you can build her confidence today?
